We are looking for a passionate digital marketer who wants to further their career working on inspiring digital health campaigns, someone who can help run multiple digital health campaigns and create outstanding results. You will be instrumental in creating top-of-class digital campaigns supported by our fun and very social bunch within the Digital, Creative and Strategy team. No two days are the same and we encourage you to push digital and creative boundaries. 

Reporting to the Account Director, your responsibility will be to oversee and deliver outstanding client service on key accounts, create digital channel and content plans, implement campaigns on social and digital, plus guide technical performance on campaigns to deliver exceptional results.

The position 

The full time, permanent position is primarily located at Level 8/52 Phillip Street, Sydney with the option of working from home up to two/three days per week. (Yep, we’re just up the road from Circular Quay station!) 

A day in this position would see you working across different digital health campaigns, helping craft content strategy, digital communications plans, copywriting paid campaigns and implementing social media messaging to push the right message to the right audience. As a client manager, you will know the regulations that come with health communication, regularly upskill your pharma knowledge, be responsible for implementing and building digital campaigns, and provide strategic and technical optimisation guidance to clients. 

To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate proficiency across digital channels. Primarily key social channels, paid search (Google Analytics understanding a must) and a foundational knowledge of audience journey and utilisation through CRM and CMS platforms.  

With the guidance of the Account Director and Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for implementing digital strategy, reviewing campaigns and providing suggestions on performance.  

You will also need to have a strong creative eye with digital creative projects taking on integrated forms – dynamic mixed media, video production and influencers across the AMEA region.

What you'll be doing

Key responsibilities for this position include: 

DIGITAL:  

  • Day to day management and implementation of key health marketing and communications digital projects. 
  • Supporting the Account Director to manage and implement digital marketing strategy and implementation for high profile brands, undertaking content planning, channel planning and digital communications. 
  • Understand and execute omni-channel campaigns integrating digital, social, web, search and email. 
  • Management and facilitation of different audience market segments when delivering digital campaigns, including targeting of HCP’s and patient groups. 
  • Ongoing upskilling and management of the nuances, timeframes and challenges that align with digital marketing in the health sector. 
  • Undertaking of small to medium website builds, working with external suppliers to manage the process from start to end. 
  • Social media channel understanding and copywriting, ensuring the right message is to the right audience on the right platform.  
  • Digital Paid media integration understanding within the overall content plans including Paid social media, SEO and SEM. 
  • Set-up and understanding of email marketing campaigns and crm databases. 
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and provide excellent client service. 
  • Be engaged with and inspire junior and senior peers around digital initiatives and channels. 
  • Contribute to the agency and client’s growing digital skill-set. 
  • Ability to successfully educate health clients on the increasing role of digital within the communications landscape 

 

CLIENT SERVICE:  

  • Act as part of the team that delivers on clients needs and requirements 
  • Manage and undertake diary management, WIPs, meeting note taking and clinet feedback.  
  • Provide communications counsel to clients and serve as a strategic resource and champion for digital campaigns.  
  • Understand how the PR planning process (earned) aligns with the overall digital communications strategy.  
  • Ensure opportunities to leverage agency services and capabilities are identified and implemented to increasing revenue and improving client satisfaction.   

 

TEAM MANAGEMENT:  

  • Oversee team-wide initiatives for continued team and individual development.   
  • Train and identify learning opportunities for team members on media relations, client service, strategy, and agency business.   
  • Provide support to current team members who are ready for a transition.   
  • Play an integral role in staff planning. Give clients advance notice of changes when possible.   
  • Contribute to agency recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing, evaluation and selection of candidates. Continually look for talent for the agency.   
  • Help define integration process and appropriate training/shadow opportunities for new hires.  

 

What you've been able to accomplish

Key selection criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in marketing, digital marketing or applicable field is preferred. 
  2. 4-5 years of agency Account Management experience required. 
  3. 1-2 years in a fast-paced deliverable organisation (agency or in house environment) with client engagement and management experience. 
  4. Proven success in delivery of multiple deliverables without sacrificing quality and fidelity. 
  5. Proven history of client engagement including presentations and collection of client feedback. 
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel). 
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy. 
  8. Client and business environment:  Customer service orientation is a must.  Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks. 
  9. Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion. 
  10. Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations. 
  11. Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English.
