What We Need

We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Content and Channel Strategy who can lead social and digital strategic excellence for the craft on our largest consumer accounts. The ideal candidate has strong social background, agency experience, knowledge of integrated communications campaigns and can flex across brand, executive, initiative, and product communications.

 

Our clients crave innovative thinking and subject matter expertise within the consumer sector, using new tools and approaches to drive storytelling and engage people in the places and platforms where they gather. Your role as an expert is to lead the development of our strategic direction in digital communications and identify growth opportunities and service offerings. This role creates the opportunity for you to lead multiple, complex social and digital content projects simultaneously – from strategy development and leading new business efforts to liaising with account teams and supervising cross-functional team members to ensure consistent executional excellence.

 

This role will lead new approaches for content creation, creator partnerships and visual storytelling. A significant part of the role is serving as a key member of the Content & Channel leadership team, offering perspective and guidance as we grow.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead content and channel strategy for iconic consumer clients to define, create, position and amplify stories across relevant channels and platforms
  • Lead the development and build out of the agency’s creator offering in partnership with agency sector and client leads
  • Lead the client and team to assess and evolve owned and social channels tuned to the client’s transformation story arc  
  • Assess and leverage data to consult and discover opportunities to shift content and channel strategy and consult clients based on that data
  • Be a senior lead on client leadership teams to shape efforts that bring together different skillsets in unique ways to create new digital and social communications opportunities for the client and organic growth opportunities for WE
  • Lead the content and channel strategy team that supports WE’s North America consumer clients and new business efforts, shaping the future of that team aligned with the agency’s vision and business objectives
  • Create an inclusive environment, lead and manage people with a human touch and in a way that brings people together creating a great place to work that inspires and motivates everyone

What you've been able to accomplish

  • 15+ years of experience building a variety of integrated content and channel strategies, creator and digital media campaigns for a range of clients that have a track record of building communities and high-fidelity content creation
  • Demonstrates clear expertise and deep knowledge across the ever-changing social and digital landscape requirements and practices – both at a user and performance level
  • Exceptional presentation skills — both verbal and written, formal and informal
  • Ability to establish strong client relationships and provide excellent client service
  • Experience managing, guiding, and training others as well as leading multiple teams
  • Experience with financial management & reporting on behalf of clients and their campaigns
  • Knowledge of digital tracking & measurement tools
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels and skillsets
