Overview

Hot, downloadable, sharable,”get them talking” content is what we’re after – and a steady stream of it. We are looking for a prolific content creator to produce topical, newsworthy copy in multiple formats that attracts eyeballs and interest from our key audiences, expanding our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. We want someone with a POV about how our content marketing approach can evolve and soar. Candidates must have a deep love and skill for writing compelling audience-relevant content, a curiosity to learn and understand different sectors and industries, and the ability to embody the company’s voice through all work.

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for devising, managing and executing content experiences for WE Communications (agency marketing, regional sector marketing and executive leaders)
  • Work with the agency marketing leads and team/sector members to create content solutions for the agency’s intellectual capital Brands in Motion and Stories in Motion, integrated marketing strategies and activities (WE content engagement with trade publications, participation in conferences and sector events)
  • Develop content for year-round initiatives for external activities, incl. executive content to support leadership platforms. Deliverables include not limited to blogs, videos, website pages, infographics/data visualization, internal and external email newsletters, white papers, social-only content, and more
  • Work with agency marketing teams and sector leaders – and independently – to develop ideas for content solutions to engage current and prospective clients and employees
  • Lead content creation campaigns and partner with marketing specialists to ensure the team produces consistent, compelling and engaging, audience-centric content
  • Partner with creative designer and subject matter experts to facilitate agreement on content deliverables, create the deliverables against agreed upon work back schedule
  • Lead the review process for content projects, securing and addressing stakeholder feedback to meet project objectives and ensure content deliverables meet style, WE brand, quality and tone/voice
  • Develop and execute content programs for the annual intellectual capital release and campaigns (in partnership with external research partners and internal Insight and Analytics subject matter experts)
  • Write, edit, copyedit and/or proofread various types branded and/or sponsored content on a wide range of topics (including employee blogs, executives speeches)
  • Be a leading voice of content marketing on the marketing team, at the agency, educate and evangelize best practices in the field across the team
  • Partner with Marketing Managers and strategists to measure content effectiveness and make recommendations for future campaigns and to make improvements
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong collaborator across regions/sectors/teams
  • Able to take  at multiple altitudes (i.e. high level strategy to in the weeds execution)
  • Has both marketing comms experience and strategic communications experience
  • Able to pivot between marketing for brand, and marketing for sales, connects activities to outcomes
  • Proficiency in placing content into digital/social channels
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent marketing communications and business experience (5+ years)
  • Track-record of delivering results in house, or in a services company designing and executing marketing communications campaigns, and/or combined editorial journalism experience
