    WE Communications, one of the world’s largest independent integrated communications agencies, is looking for driven professionals to join our highly successful office in London. With an office in the heart of Covent Garden, we are keen to bolster our ranks with an Associate Content Strategist to join us and work on a number of our key integrated client(s).


    Our London office is one of 18 across the globe, and it’s expanding rapidly. We work across time zones and continents. Our clients are innovative and so is our work – and importantly, our employees come first. We are currently looking for an aspiring strategist to join our multi-award winning digital team and help us drive full integration across our client portfolio, allowing you to become a key ingredient to the success of core UK clients. 


    You are required to have a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, contribute and have a voice in our super-collaborative and integrated team.  The focus of this position is to research, develop and draft compelling content; help clients generate appropriate content ideas that help their messages break through with audiences; and assist the Content team in work that contributes to our vision and business success.


    Main Accountabilities:

    • Has an eye for compelling content that explains or illustrates news or tells a deeper story that meets audience needs.
    • Consistently produces a range of high-quality basic content, including articles, blog posts, news releases and reports.
    • Has the technical skills to help create content beyond text, such as video scripts or interactive graphics.
    • Has experience in carrying out basic content audits, analyses and inventories (social, website, SEO).
    • Stays abreast of industry content and platform trends and actively shares what was learned.
    • Seeks continual professional development and improvement, and actively shares what was learned.
    • Works with the agency Senior Content Strategist to ensure that the content development process is followed and upheld.
    • Has understanding of how different platforms require different content needs and formats
    • Works with Senior Content Strategist to ensure clients have a strong content calendar/plan
    • Works with client teams to ensure there is a strong content element to all of their campaigns
    • Works with client teams to ensure that content developed for one channel can be adapted for use across multiple channels and activities.




    Key Attributes of the Candidate:


    Previous proven experience:

    • Minimum three to four years’ experience in professional team environment, preferably with agency experience.
    • Deep grasp of English language with strong content creation skills(specifically video and SEO).
    • Working experience of tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush or Moz.
    • Experience working under deadline pressure.
    • Proofreading and/or copyediting experience desired.
    • Ability to multi-task, shift priorities quickly and concentrate under stressful conditions.
