  • Overview

    You are one part publicist, two parts events maven, and a dash of killer content strategist. And your one and only client is WE. You partner with the regional/global comms managers to architect the story we want to tell both externally and internally, and then tirelessly work to insert WE into all the relevant dialogues to get us there. You will intimately know the industry trades and be all over them like a bad rash – taking it very personally when there’s a story we should have been part of that we weren’t. You will work cross team to support marketing activations and execute flawlessly – whether that’s driving logistics, writing outstanding content, or taking the message to the masses via the latest social channel. You live and breathe our employees, clients and prospects – and tirelessly support all activities that touch these groups.




    Job Functions:

    • Support execution of annual global marketing plan that will generate heightened brand awareness and increased sales leads for WE.
    • Partner to identify and produce a steady cadence of events/activations that will support sectors, services, and key geographies, etc.
    • Drive clear service level agreements with agency partners that defines engagement levels (from ownership to consultative) and ensuring alignment with the broader agency marketing strategy.
    • Support development and maintenance of marketing assets and collateral for use in marketing and sales activities. Strategic point of view on how we present ourselves.
    • Partners with content marketing manager and digital marketing manager to build and support a rich editorial calendar across our owned properties (including blog posts, intellectual capital, reports, webinars, podcasts, infographics, etc.)
    • Partners closely with Digital Marketing Manager to develop and amplify content across digital and social platforms (i.e. FB, LI, Twitter, etc.)
    • Other job duties as assigned.



    Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or digital media is required.
    • 3-5 years of Journalism, next-generation digital and visual storytelling, content strategy, business development, creative direction, social media and marketing.
    • Experience in house or in a services company designing and executing marketing campaigns preferred.
    • Proven success understanding of or proficiency in tool that can generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and nurture them through the pipeline preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel)

    Additional Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels and desire to learn more
    • Creative thinker with strong eye for agency voice and high quality design.
    • Self-starter with initiative to constantly enhance and improve the work the team does.
    • Must be adept at creative problem solving on the fly and thinking on your feet
    • Strong writing skills a must.
    • Exceptional diplomacy and a proven ability to manage a variety of stakeholders
    • Knowledge of and experience with array of digital media and User Experience – and the ability to translate to clients’ needs
    • Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks.
    • Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations
    • Fast-paced team (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.).
    • Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write, and speak English
    • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion; ability to travel
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
