    WE Communications, one of the world’s largest independent integrated communications agencies, is looking for driven professionals to join our highly successful office in Munich. With an office in Sandstraße 33, we are keen to bolster our ranks with an Assistant Account Executive to join our growing Healthcare Practice and work on a number of our key integrated healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.


    Our Munich office is one of 18 across the globe, and it’s expanding rapidly. We work across time zones and continents. Our clients are innovative and so is our work – and importantly, our employees come first. We are currently looking for an aspiring PR/Comms operator to become an integral part of our award-winning team, working on some of largest and most successful healthcare and pharma companies; providing insightful client counsel, a deep understanding of the technology sector and passion for business writing. 


    This a great opportunity for an ambitious AAE to learn about the workings of a fast-paced and dynamic comms agency, whilst you will help us drive full integration across our client portfolio, allowing you to work with the Account Director to learn, grow and fulfil your potential.  You will also have a willingness to learn how to best to optimise both traditional and digital communication in order to deliver excellent integrated strategies.


    Key strengths within this role should include content creation, a can-do attitude, willingness to forge partnerships with local German media, a passion for healthcare communications, international coordination and the ability to think multi-channel/multi-platform at all times.  You will join a very talented and committed team, working on a great mix of instantly recognisable brand(s), and significant attention will be given to your career growth and development.


    Main Accountabilities:

    • Integrated (traditional and digital) strategy and campaign development experience
    • Development of regular ‘smaller campaign’ plans as well as overall client strategy
    • Solid media relations skills – Facebook Twitter, Instagram and Blogging
    • Story generation – helping to brainstorm ideas to generate coverage for clients
    • Meeting billability targets established for your position.
    • Ability to work with the digital and content teams – adding value wherever possible



    Key Attributes of the Candidate:


    Previous proven experience:

    • At least 6months to 1 years’ experience in communications, preferably in an agency setting or within applicable industry
    • Previous internship(s) and/or placement experience to gain valuable commercial experience
    • Strong content creation skills – blog, press releases etc.


    Agency Business

    • Meet WE guidelines on best business practices including utilization, daily timesheets, accurate billing, timely expense reports, etc.
    • Manage and understand how to utilize internal client service teams (editing, production, library, etc.) to ensure quality, comprehensive service to clients



    • Fast paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
