  • Overview

    The Search Analyst will be the tool administer for the agency’s real time social media monitoring capability. This role is responsible for collecting and synthesizing data across various media(s) to find the meaning in data. The Search Analyst will help turn data into stories and be able to present it in ways to agency stakeholders that fuel actionable insights.

    Responsibilities

    Job Functions:

    • Develop advanced Boolean queries to support client analytic requests.
    • Collaborate with I&A data analysts to build out the capability for a key agency client, learn, optimize and deploy to other clients in North America
    • Collect and synthesize data across paid, earned, shared, owned media using various social listening and analytical tools.
    • Uses analytical tools to analyze social data: Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.
    • Provides daily, weekly, monthly and yearly updates to internal teams and client.
    • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting templates that will be deployed across multiple clients.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced degree considered in lieu of experience.
    • 4+ years’ in advanced social measurements and analytic experience
    • Experience with social media monitoring: Netbase, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Radian6 or Crimson Hexagon, social media analytics such as Talkwalker, familiarity with  with Google Analytics with working knowledge of enterprise tools from Omniture, Adobe Analytics, Webtrends or Unica
    • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or any other dashboarding & data visualization tool
    • Experience with integrated digital and traditional data against social analysis. That includes: Social Media, Search, Web traffic and Earned KPIs Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures (ROI, Effectiveness)

    Additional Requirements:

    • Ability to translate complex data into a compelling story
    • Solid organizational and project management skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, tools, and platforms
    • Client and business environment, Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist.
    • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion; ability to travel
    • Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations
    • Ability to read, write and speak English
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
