    WE Communications, one of the world’s largest independent integrated communications agencies, is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding London Healthcare Team.


    Our UK office is one of 20 across the globe, and it’s expanding rapidly. Led by a new Head of Health, the healthcare practice has been undergoing an ambitious revamp and the successful individual will be a key component of helping us create a market-defining offering, which uses a progressive approach to healthcare communications to deliver impressive results for clients.


    With an office in the heart of Covent Garden, we are keen to bolster our ranks with an aspiring junior hire to help expand our healthcare offering and support existing key client(s) including; Amgen, BenevolentAI, Elsevier and Leo Pharma.

    Key strengths within this role should include content creation, event planning and organization, media relations, a passion for healthcare, international coordination and the ability to think multi-channel/multi-platform at all times. 


    Main Accountabilities:

    • Project management – working with Account Managers to ensure work is delivered on time

    • New business research

    • Solid media and influencer relations skills – via traditional, social and digital channels

    • Story generation – helping to brainstorm ideas to generate coverage for clients

    • Ability to work with the digital and content teams – adding value wherever possible



    Previous proven experience:

    • Typically 1-2 years’ experience in communications, preferably in an agency setting or in an in-house role in a healthcare company

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 

    • Strong content creation skills – scientific background is helpful, but not essential


    Agency Business

    • Meet WE guidelines on best business practices including utilization, daily timesheets, accurate billing, timely expense reports, etc.

    • Manage and understand how to utilize internal client service teams (editing, production, library, etc.) to ensure quality, comprehensive service to clients
