With an office in the heart of Covent Garden, we are keen to bolster our ranks with a Senior HR Advisor to join our super-talented operational team on a 12-month maternity cover.  Our London office is one of 20 across the globe, and it’s expanding rapidly.     We are currently looking for a first-class HR practitioner to join us in this stand-alone role, whilst becoming an integral part of our multi-faceted operational team, supporting colleagues in the UK, Germany and South Africa.  You will be involved in all aspects of the employee life-cycle; this includes working with talent acquisition on start-to-end recruitment, on-boarding and leavers, PM, compensation and benefits, legal compliance, employee relations and payroll


    The Senior HR Advisor will provide a true generalist HR support across the management and employee population and is a great opportunity for someone with excellent HR knowledge and a commercial eye to get stuck in and take the next step towards further progression in their HR career. 


    Main Accountabilities:

    General HR

    • Coordinate the onboarding process: preparation of pre-employment paperwork, Offer packs, reference checking, background checks
    • Update and maintain HRIS to ensure accurate records
    • Responsible for all employee HR administration

    ER and Compliance

    • Administers proactive programs, procedures and plans related to employee relations activities including Talent review cycle 
    • Assist in the development and coordination of regional best practice
    • Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on ER issues
    • Ensures that legal requirements are met in terms of employee relations to minimise exposure to liability – across varying legalities in the EMEA region.
    • Ensuring all policies and procedures are updated according to legislative changes and keeping abreast of future requirements
    • Management of international assignments and visa application process
    • Liaise with regional law firms to manage ER concerns and separations
    • Annual B-BBEE project(s), including skills development and employee equity
    • Ad-hoc project management


    Compensation and Benefits

    • Oversees the full Pension Auto Enrolment process
    • Manage the regional benefits offering

    Previous proven experience:

    • At least 4+ years commercial HR experience
    • Highly Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge and sound working experience of HR/Payroll software
    • Experience of working with senior management and offering counsel
    • UK employment law experience, whilst Germany and South Africa desirable.
    • Service driven with proven ability to work to tight deadlines
