    WE Communications, one of the world’s largest independent integrated communications agencies, is looking for driven professionals to join our highly successful office in London. With an office in the heart of Covent Garden, we are keen to bolster our ranks with an enthusiastic Assistant Account Executive to support a major new client win in our Technology Practice.


    Our London office is one of 20 across the globe, and it’s expanding rapidly. We work across time zones and continents. Our clients are innovative and so is our work – and importantly, our employees come first. We are currently looking for an AAE to become an integral part of our award winning tech team, supporting our biggest clients.


    This a great opportunity for an ambitious AAE to work within a fun and creative team to learn, grow and fulfil your potential.  You will also have a willingness to learn how to secure top tier media coverage for B2B technology clients and create content to reach their audiences.


    Key strengths within this role should include a passion for media relations, excellent writing skills, great organization and a can do attitude.  You’ll also need a passion for technology and enjoy keeping on top of the latest news agenda.


    Main Accountabilities:

    • Press office management to build relationships with trade and national media
    • Story generation – helping to brainstorm ideas to generate coverage for clients
    • Ability to work at a fast pace – adding value wherever possible
    • Reporting on clients results



    Key Attributes of the Candidate:


    Previous proven experience:

    • At least 3-6 months’ experience in communications, preferably in an agency setting or within applicable industry
    • Previous internship(s) and/or placement experience to gain valuable commercial experience
    • Media relations experience and passion for building wider networks of contacts
    • Interest in technology PR/comms


    Agency Business

    • Meet WE guidelines on best business practices including utilization, daily timesheets, accurate billing, timely expense reports, etc.
    • Manage and understand how to utilize internal client service teams (editing, production, library, etc.) to ensure quality, comprehensive service to clients
