  • Overview

    The Director of Global Partners (PLUS Partner Lead) is responsible for assessing, developing and deploying organizational initiatives that drive the expansion of the PLUS program. This role is data and people driven; applying industry knowledge and trend data to strategies that will lead a community of Partners. This position will drive programs, engage relationships and promote sales enablement strategies to evolve PLUS offerings. The lead will work with executive leadership to identify and engage new partners and capabilities while developing success metrics and tracking performance.


    This role can be based in New York City or London!


    Job Functions:

    • Leads initiatives to collect and analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
    • Assist with business planning and vision setting for the PLUS and partner programs on an annual basis.
    • Ensures that proposed programs and procedures align with corporate vision and further organizational strategy while identifying new partners and capabilities that could be beneficial to the business
    • Manages the day-to-day operations and new business queries for Plus and local partners, securing leads, opportunities and promoting collaboration.
    • Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders with diplomacy and tact; successfully adopts communication style to audience
    • Act as the main point of contact for global partners as WE engages in new projects and on-boarding with clients.
    • Responsible for conflict resolution between WE, clients, and partners while maintaining great relationships resulting in WE being the partner of choice.
    • Frames recommendations and/or advises business leaders by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities
    • Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations, successfully execute plans, and drive educational opportunities for the network.
    • Liaise with WE colleagues (client teams, marketing and biz dev) on opportunities, provide counsel/recommendation on scopes of work, provide affiliate content, make outreach
    • Other job duties as assigned.


    Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Business Administration, International Business Management, or similar applicable field is required.
    • 8-10+ years experience or work in a professional services environment; Marketing/Agency experience is preferred.
    • Proven ability to work with and influence executive level leadership.
    • Strong project/program management, writing and presentation skills required.
    • Deep understanding of wide range of communications channels, tools, and vehicles spanning paid, owned, and earned platforms including social platforms
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel)

    Additional Requirements:

    • A sense of urgency, the ability to deal with ambiguous situations, a strategic view but also willing to roll up your sleeves and dig in to the work to drive impact
    • Highly collaborative, diplomatic, ability to influence others, persuasive approach
    • Client and business environment:  Customer service orientation is a must.  Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks
    • Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations
    • Travel: may on occasion need to travel, up to 25%
    • Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)
    • Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English
    • May need to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion
