    WE Codeword is a hybrid agency that combines content, media relations and thoughtful creativity to build effective communications programs. 

    We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented assistant editor to join our editorial team. Your time will be split between corporate communications and activating social for executives; you’ll work on an innovative technology company and support new clients developing content for everyone from marketing mavens to senior industry executives. 

    You’ll create content, lead community management and manage executive level social channels.  If you love writing, managing communities, finding the thing that makes an audience tick, and turning that insight into great work—all with enthusiasm and a collaborative attitude—then you’ll fit right in.



    • Community listening and management: Monitor community activity and provide response recommendations
    • News monitoring: Monitor and curation of relevant industry news for internal agency and client education
    • Social content creation: Compose social media posts to engage the community on a variety of platforms
    • Measurement: Compile insights for community and content performance reporting


    Desired skills and experience

    • 1-2 years writing experience - ideally across multiple formats (i.e. social, blogs, articles etc)
    • A self-starter with a “do what it takes” mentality and ability to work independently
    • Expertise and enthusiasm for social media platforms and best practices is required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Works well independently and in a team environment
    • Passion for technology industry
    • Experience with Hootesuite, Tweetback, Sprinklr or other CMS platforms a plus
