The Insight & Analytics Senior Analyst is the organization’s representative of the I&A team. This position is a strategic advisor to internal and external clients as well as leads a team of analysts for a segment of business or discipline. The Senior I&A Analyst plays a critical role in engaging with clients from beginning to end to elicit business objectives and develop KPIs to create appropriate and sensible measures. This role guides or executes KPI measurement and reporting.


This position can be based in Portland, OR; Bellevue, WA; or San Francisco, CA.


  • In consultation with clients, develops strategy insights that are compelling, actionable, and statistically rigorous, identifying trends and anomalies, and triangulating data gaps.
  • Responsible for the activities of a segment of business or discipline to include planning, resourcing, budget management, and organic business growth.
  • Under general guidance, the Senior I&A Analyst owns client and account strategy, relationships, and satisfaction for analytics programs
  • Manages and develops a team of analysts/Analysts to continually improve quality of work, increase client satisfaction, provide career/professional development, managing up to I&A Leadership on crisis issues, while holding the team accountable to demonstrating agency values.
  • Responsible for significant and high-quality business reviews where visuals/infographics convey succinct message to include in presentations and communications.
  • Provides strategic insights and data driven recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with WE colleagues and partners; collaboratively resolves issues.
  • Ensures gaps or inefficiencies are identified through processes and/or technology to increase efficiency.
  • Applies sophisticated quantitative skills to data sets to discern and identify patterns and recommend relatable actions.
  • Decision will have significant impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or Ops Research), or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of statistical analysis, marketing, finance, and operations experience is required.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a client facing role (either internally or externally)
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience in working with large data sets, campaign targeting and effectiveness, propensity modeling and value analysis is preferred
  • Experience in managing large projects or multiple accounts is preferred.
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel), intermediate experience with Tableau/Power BI user; technical understanding of SQL, Python
