Overview

We are seeking an Account Executive (specializing in Financial & Corporate Communications) who will create, manage, and execute corporate PR and storytelling campaigns with media and influencers on behalf of a Fortune 500 technology client. This position will support financial communications and major storytelling programs, engaging with both junior and senior staff to develop and execute on behalf of the client and team’s vision. This person is eager to take on any challenge, collaborate with a variety of teams, support major company moments and juggle a variety of tasks. Responsibilities

Job Functions:

  • Monitoring, reporting and providing insight on competitor and finance or business growth activities
  • Supporting executive comms program
  • Modeling agency values
  • Supporting media management processes: media lists, coverage monitoring and industry coverage trends
  • Maintaining and growing client relationships by contributing to the development and implementation of communication strategies, executing on projects (leading where appropriate)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field is preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and/or experience
  • 2 years of experience in communications. 
  • Passion to work in financial communications, investor communications 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Strong analytical writing skills
  • Experience with written and developed materials, including integrated communication plans, press releases, pitches, and social media content highly desirable
