WE is looking for an Account Director or Vice President of Executive Digital Communications in our Seattle office to support integrated communications planning, strategy, creative, and insights and analytics teams across a variety of clients’ projects oriented around executive platforms.

  • Develop a methodology for building executive personas that bridges communications goals with social and content strategies tailored to each
    • Show differentiation between executives in different fields
    • Establish voice and language set for each
    • Find opportunities for appropriate amplification and sponsored moments
  • Create best practices and train executives (and their teams) on the ins and outs of effectively leveraging social media platforms to amplify their message and shape their perceptions
    • Establish appropriate frequency and considerations for each platform
    • Outline clear goals/KPIs and implement analytics tracking
  • Design and optimize plans for executive social platforms and activities that can be shared and adopted by leaders and their comms teams
    • Build a social architecture that takes into account each brand’s purpose, target audiences, the executive point(s) of view, and preferred platforms
    • Create content strategies and determine the right mix across multiple channels
    • Generate ongoing series ideas, find opportunities for influencer partnerships, and identify opportunities for brand amplification
    • Monitor the progress of plans and adjust strategies based on engagement rates and current affairs
  • Build plans for reactive messaging and advice for fielding negative responses from followers
  • Amplify news and share insights via long-form articles
  • Devise a social plan based on a holistic assessment of existing internal and external communication, marketing, and issue advocacy/public affairs plans
  • Play a key role in technology, consumer, and healthcare accounts
  • Work directly with Integrated Services leadership across our North America offices to ensure all deliverables are aligned to strategy, on time, and of the highest quality
  • Participate in new business and organic growth by identifying digital opportunities across our existing business
  • Bring a strong point of view to the table through active participation in brainstorms and ongoing client engagements
  • Play a large role in evangelizing our digital capabilities with internal teams, existing clients, and prospects
  • Develop written proposals, presentations, and case studies



  • Strategic, well-versed in executive communications analysis and insights, social media, and omni-channel practices
  • Ability to partner with research and insights teams to understand audience behaviors and trends to develop insights and translate that to actionable communications strategies and tactics
  • Ability to provide strategic vision, and execute on programs and tactics when needed
  • Curious about emerging trends in digital communications and excited to bring insights from the outside world back into the agency and to clients
  • Focused on impact and moving the needle for executive social platforms


  • Bachelor’s degree or above required in marketing, communications or a related field
  • 6-9 years of experience in strategic communications
  • Fluency with marketing data, reporting, analysis, and insight generation
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing skills of junior-level staff
  • Demonstrated ability to teach analytic skills to staff members
  • Solid presentation skills to various audiences, including senior executives
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms and multi-channel measurement technologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
