What We Need

WE Communications is one of the largest independent communications and integrated marketing agencies in the world, with 24 offices globally and more than 1,300 people dedicated to communicating with purpose. In the UK, we have a headcount of around 50 people and are (usually) based close to Bankside in London.


Our technology division is the biggest in the agency and we are currently looking to bolster it with the addition of a first-class Senior Account Executive / Account Manager to help support our existing clients and win some more. This is a great opportunity for an experienced comms executive who is looking to stretch their wings and move on to bigger global clients and more integrated campaigns.


Our work spans time zones and continents. Our clients are innovative and so is what we deliver for them – but importantly, our employees come first. You’ll be joining a very talented, collaborative, flexible and committed team, and working on a great mix of our B2B brands, which include Microsoft, Capgemini, Trend Micro and Intel.


Key strengths for this role include UK media relations, content creation (storytelling and writing), team coordination and a deep understanding of the technology sector. You should have a can-do attitude, as well as a willingness to learn, contribute and engage with our super friendly team. Solid agency experience is a must, and ideally you’d also have familiarity of working across digital and social. In return, you will be working with a fantastic line member, who will invest time and energy in your own development and career progression. 

What you'll be doing

  • Integrated (traditional and digital) campaign execution
  • Media and influencer relations – leaning on established relationships with relevant UK and EMEA media
  • Storytelling – joining storymining calls and developing media angles to generate coverage for clients
  • Content creation – writing up coments, articles and other related content on behalf of clients
  • Activity tracking and coordinating team actions

What you've been able to accomplish

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in communications – in an agency and/or within applicable industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Journalist relationships with the technology and business space
  • Strong content creation skills – blogs, press releases etc.

  • utilization, daily timesheets, accurate billing, timely expense reports, etc.
