Overview

The Associate Creative Director (ACD) is an instrumental position in WE DXT. The ACD sparks and directs fresh and sustained creative innovation across a wide range of creative projects, and is accountable for their successful execution while balancing the bounds of an array of briefs and budgets. An ACD may rise from any creative discipline and—beyond having mastered their respective craft in Copy, Design or Technology—is adept at orchestrating the full suite of creative talent and output on any given creative program. This creative dynamo balances their contribution across a wide spectrum of creative and business objectives: conducting research and shaping execution strategies, guiding project assignments, developing winning concepts, directing projects toward flawless execution, ensuring project teams work inventively to deliver consistently standout creative assets, and building teams’ skills and business effectiveness continually over time. They’re adept at managing client relationships at a strategic creative level, leading client presentations and making influential cases to safeguard the most powerful creative and story concepts and bring them to life. They apply the same dedication to pitching and selling in the work as they do to protecting and enhancing it. ACDs play a core role in evolving the creative practice at WE, regularly fostering breakthrough creative ideas and areas while framing the narratives and relationships that sell them in—and continually increasing quality and consistency of the work and talent. They also helps identify, foster and allocate creative talent within the team to meet the broad variety of current and future client and agency needs. They’re a mentor to team members, shaping the future of creative excellence at WE and in the communications industry. They themselves could direct film and voice talent in a pinch, or write a killer brand guide. They lead by example.
