The Details

As a member of the Digital Experience Technology (DXT) team at WE, you will help shape thought leadership and digital programs for c-suite executives and their teams. Your mission (if you choose to accept it) will be to find ways to inspire employees, grab the attention of shareholders, and reach new audiences through the power of digital storytelling.

You will help with managing multiple day-to-day client and agency requests across business groups in a dynamic team environment. Your strategic counsel will enable executives to forge a connection with their employees and customers in order to earn trust and differentiate themselves from their competitors.

 

Job Functions

  • Communications strategy and development: Partnering with the VP of Executive Comms Digital Strategy, Insights & Analytics, Media Relations, Project Management, and Channel Strategy, you will help build executive communication platforms spanning vision and thought leadership, business strategy and organizational leadership, from both an internal and external lens. Includes reviewing and evaluating input from key stakeholders to reinforce the platform.
  • Creative storytelling: You will support the development of compelling storytelling that helps align messaging with the strategic vision and goals for some of the world’s leading brands. You have a strong point of view and aren’t afraid to bring stories to life in new ways.
  • Social strategy: You’ll help build executive social plans and partner on their implementation. Our job is to establish an executive’s voice and bring it to life across priority social platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn. On top of that, you’ll stay in-tune with platform changes and trends so that you can advise clients on the latest and greatest tactics.

Responsibilities

 

  • Draft and edit longform for LinkedIn, owned blogs, and more
  • Help develop and maintain content calendars and source thought leadership articles
  • Outline clear goals/KPIs and implement analytics tracking
  • Monitor the progress of plans and adjust strategies based on engagement rates and current affairs
  • Help design and optimize executive social plans that can be shared and adopted by leaders and their outreach teams
  • Learn and adopt best practices for exec social
  • Ensure all deliverables are on strategy, on time, and of the highest quality
  • Participate in new business and organic growth
  • Play a role with evangelizing our digital capabilities with internal teams, existing clients, and prospects
  • Assist with the development of written proposals, presentations, and case studies

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or related field of experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in strategic communications, focusing on writing and editing
  • Client service management experience with helping to manage day-to-day deliverables for an account or book of business
  • Understands social platforms and has a strong familiarity with LinkedIn and Twitter, in particular

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • 1-2 writing samples or link to writing portfolio
