With an office close to Bankside in London (but also a hybrid working approach in place), we are keen to bolster our ranks with a senior hire to help expand our offering and support existing key integrated technology client(s).

 

This a great opportunity for an ambitious Senior Account Director to ensure work is strategically aligned with brand/ client strategies for Global accounts. You will be forward focused in supporting the AMs and SAEs below you to deliver work on time to a high standard and be the strategic day to day contact for the client.

 

What you'll be doing at WE

Portfolio Management

  • Lead a number of WE client teams including a marquee Global account for the agency - taking ownership for the successful delivery against KPIs/metrics. This includes:
  • Overall team management and planning, client day-to-day management and successful financial management of client accounts
  • Deliver integrated communications strategies and campaign development for Global and EMEA brands
  • Lead on tier-one media relations when appropriate to secure flagship thought leadership opportunities for clients
  • Provide senior counsel and be the first point of contact for crisis communications and issues management
  • Responsible for content creation and quality control of content created by the broader client team
  • Senior project management with the ability to navigate campaigns that have many moving parts while maintaining team and client health

 

As a more senior member of the team, this role also includes:

  • Line manager for junior members of staff - responsible for personal development, delivering feedback and supporting retention
  • Contribute to broader agency initiatives spanning marketing and client excellence

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • New business: responding to RFPs and managing the pitch process with input from more senior team members

 

What you've been able to accomplish

  • Extensive experience in Integrated communications – in an agency &/or within applicable industry
  • Minimum of 6 years PR management, crisis management & execution experience
  • Experience of working across very technical clients, with the ability to seamlessly transition to more consumer-orientated clients
  • Team management experience, including experience developing a team
  • Experience of both B2B and B2C large scale technology clients
  • Proven track record of delivering high-profile campaigns, across EMEA/globally
