WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The role will provide administrative support to key senior personnel on the Consumer Team, while partnering with our broader North America administrative community. It will require a sound multi-tasker who can perform a variety of administrative duties while also managing frequent cross team interactions and deliverables. Additionally, this role would also act as a liaison between the senior team members, staffers, clients, and vendors. A successful candidate is able to communicate well across all teams/levels, manage their time efficiently and effectively while juggling multiple priorities.

YOU’LL WORK WITH:
The role will partner with Senior Executive Leaders across WE’s Consumer Practice. This position will report to the Consumer team’s Lead Executive Assistant, a fantastic resource to partner with and foster your career development at WE. Additionally, you will work in close partnership with our administrative team members across North America and join WE’s Global Assistant Network, a professional development program focused on providing growth opportunities, while championing the community of assistants WE has across the globe.
The Account Executive will be responsible for creating, managing and executing PR campaigns and news cycles involving education, technology, business and consumer press, as well as other influencers on behalf of our agency clients. The focus is on reaching education communities through earned and owned channels through campaigns, product launches, and engagement with media and influencers. This role provides an opportunity to learn and develop communication skills, while working across several accounts with team members from coast-to-coast.

The full time, permanent position is primarily located at either Level 8/52 Phillip Street, Sydney CBD or Level 3/132-136 Albert Road, South Melbourne, with the option of working from home up to two days per week.
The position will be responsible for working alongside the team to create, manage and execute campaigns across the entire communication ecosystem. The key purpose of the position is to support the team to create and maintain strong relationships with clients in the bio-pharmaceutical, medical technology, digital health, health service and consumer health space. The role will also involve developing engaging content (potentially scientific in nature), having a good understanding of the health (and health media) environment, and supporting execution of product launch, disease awareness and corporate reputation campaigns.
A day in the life of this position could include:
- Helping to keep the team up to date with the latest health news across mainstream, medical and trade media.
- Working across a diverse and interesting range of disease areas and health sectors.
- Maintaining the everyday running of client accounts and engaging with clients.
- Speaking directly with stakeholders including patients, patient advocacy groups, healthcare professionals and helping them to communicate their unique stories and opinions.
- Supporting the development of communication materials including press materials, briefing documents, research reports, pitch points and case study write ups.
