PR Account Executive – WFH/Melbourne/Sydney
Full-Time, Permanent Contract
Who we are looking for:
- We need a highly organised and client focused PR Account Executive who can identify a media angle at 10 paces, run event logistics with their eyes closed, and produce amazing campaign reports. Anyone one of these three skills will hold you in good stead, but feel free to demonstrate any others you think will impress us. Recent experience, or an interest, in technology and consumer brands a plus.
Key skills & requirements are:
- Min 1 years PR agency experience, ideally most recently as a PR Account Coordinator or similar
- High level organisational skills honed in a fast paced environment prone to constant change
- Recent experience in managing media, influencers and events
- Strong writing skills for all formats

The Senior Account Executive position is based ideally out of WE Communication’s NY or Boston office, and will work remotely until our physical offices reopen. However, we are open to considering candidates from other locations to work remotely if they are the right fit.
The I&A Director will be responsible for co-owning communication and implementation of the organization’s business strategy with an assigned team and participates in and communicates the execution of the business plan. This role owns a major client and account team strategy along with relationships and satisfaction for the client’s analytics programs.
The Senior Account Executive will manage multiple day-to-day client and agency requests across business groups in a dynamic team environment. This position will drive consumer PR campaigns and support launches with media, influencers, and consumers. The SAE will partner with our clients to drive brand recognition, relevance, and resonance on a global scale for the Microsoft account. This position will be supporting the Microsoft Work & Play account and driving comms around M365 where we just released the latest emojis from Microsoft, brought back Clippy and introduced the potential for a new default font for Microsoft's many apps. The agency’s Cloud Communications team represents not only Microsoft’s cloud products (like Azure), but also its solutions for industries, and work with customers and partners around the globe.
The SAE will specifically contribute to a tight-knit group within the larger team that supports Microsoft’s work with its global network of technology partners: 95% of Microsoft’s Commercial revenue is driven by these partners, either directly or in partnership with the company.
